What is the difference between 9K Gold, 14K Gold and 18K Gold?
9K Gold: It contains 37.5% pure gold mixed with other metals like copper, silver, or zinc. This alloy makes 9K gold more durable but slightly less valuable in terms of gold content. It tends to be more affordable and is often used in jewelry that needs extra strength, like rings.
14K Gold: Comprising 58.5% pure gold, 14K gold is a popular choice for jewelry. It strikes a balance between durability and purity. It's stronger than higher karat gold (like 18K) due to its alloy mix, usually including copper, silver, and zinc.
18K Gold: This contains 75% pure gold and is considered more luxurious due to its higher gold content. It's softer than lower-karat gold and more prone to scratches, but its higher purity gives greater value.
